Guidance has been issued by the British Free Range Egg Producers Association (Bfrepa) explaining new RSPCA Assured requirements for windows in free-range hen sheds. It originally introduced its new standards in November 2023, one of which was a requirement to retrofit windows, to a significant backlash from egg producers and trade organisations.
