BROILER producers are free to continue using standard breeds, following the latest court judgment in the campaign by welfare bodies to make them illegal, Ken Randall reports.
In the past week, the High Court has dismissed an appeal brought by the activist group, the Humane League UK, which sought to overturn a previous decision that growing standard broilers did not contravene UK welfare rules.
